Slim Hole / Dual Completion Stacks
For multiple-completion wells with tight centerline distances requiring the slimmest equipment available, the Double E Slim Hole Stuffing Box, Slim Hole Swivel Flow Tee, and Slim Hole BOP serve the application perfectly.
Our Slim Hole Dual Pack (SHD) stuffing box accommodates centerline distances as close as 2-1⁄2 inches. Its lower packing is used to hold well pressure while changing the hand-tightened upper packing.
The SHD provides a working pressure of 3,000 psi and connection sizes ranging from 1-1⁄2 inches NU to 2-7⁄8 inches EU. It measures 10-7⁄8 inches high by 2-1⁄2 inches wide and weighs just 8 pounds.
Our Slim Hole Swivel Flow Tee lets the threaded female outlet swivel during installation, so the flow line can point in the precise direction you require. It’s designed for working pressures as great as 3,000 psi, weighs 10 pounds, and stands 8 inches high. Width is 2-3⁄8 inches or 3-1⁄8 inches, depending on connection size, which ranges from 11⁄2 inches NU to 2-7⁄8 inches EU.
Our Slim Hole BOPs can be used for maintenance as well as emergency shutdowns. They’re available with low-pressure rams (1,500-psi Type LP) or high-pressure rams (3,000-psi Type HP6), measure just 8 inches high, and weigh 27 pounds. Connection sizes range from 1-1⁄2 inches NU to 2-7⁄8 inches EU.
