Polished Rod Lubricator

This self-contained, fully automatic lubrication system is simplicity itself. Designed to rest atop any stuffing box, the Double E Polished Rod Lubricator is held in place by a hold-down chain. It applies clean lubricant — or corrosion inhibitor — to the polished rod with felt pads fed by wicks from the two oil pots, promoting long life and trouble-free operation, and eliminating the waste and mess of excessive rod lubrication. What’s more, the system helps extend the life of stuffing box packing, further reducing equipment maintenance costs and downtime.

A single quart of oil fills both pots of the Lubricator. Heading pressures cannot blow oil out of the pots, and water and other contaminants can’t get past their easy-access lids. A rubber dust seal at the top of the Lubricator wipes dust and sand from the rod on the down stroke.

The Double E Polished Rod Lubricator stands just 3-3⁄8 inches high, making it the shortest lubricator available. Where wellhead equipment height is critical, this tool is truly ideal.
