Type LP15 BOP

A uniquely versatile BOP featuring two-piece rams that close on zero and on all rod sizes up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter. No matter what situation arises, this rugged yet economical BOP can shut down the well. Available only from Double E, the LP-15's patented ram system not only enhances safety but minimizes inventory and eliminates ordering errors. The system's sturdy pin-and-socket design combines a rubber element and a ductile iron plate to resist the upward pressure thrusts while avoiding the separation failures that sometimes occur with bonded assemblies. O-ring sealed, the LP-15 BOP promotes quick ram and rubber replacements and fulfills every low-pressure control requirement for pulling rods or sealing around polished rods. Weighs 41 pounds, stands 9-1/2 inches high. Available in standard thread connections and combinations (see chart); options include handles and special elastomer rams.
